[Request] How to Setup Kainy With your PC

Kainy will run slow and laggy if you use the OUYA wifi, unfortunately. I have had no problem using a wired OUYA and wireless laptop, however.

I think this type of thing will get better with software updates, but for now if you can't hook up to ethernet, Kainy probably will only give you a headache.

I am only getting a flash of the screen shot and then 2 seconds of black then another flash etc. The controls seem to work fluidly enough but no proper screen display.

I was playin Binding of Issac with no problems. PC and Ouya were both wireless. The only issue I have is I dont have any sound(and yes.. I did purchase it so sound is suppost to be enabled). I havent looked into it too much so I am gonna start doing some research if I have some setting off or something.

Once I also didn't have sound.
To me, it was this : I always turn off sound on the PC so I don't hear sound from the other room as well. But if I mute the PC before I connect with kainy, I don't have sound on the TV.
So what I do now is start kainy server with PC sound on, connect from ouya, then mute PC.

to me no matter what i did.. i didnt have sound on my ouya side. So, I redownloaded the server and client...now i am kinda out of luck. They updated their software to 1.61 and the client on the Ouya marketplace is still 1.60.
When I run it on the Ouya it says Versions mismatched and quits.
Google play has it at 1.61. Ouya seems slow to get their updates and have to wait till i get it now.

Yep I decided to try this out yesterday and was faced with the same problem that the PC server is 1.6.1 and ouya app is 1.6.0 (versions mismatched) now this would be absolutely fine if the dev had the sense to allow you to download older server versions in case of this situation. Now I would be reluctant to try setting this up when you get an epic screw up the first time you try it!
