Yeah... that trailer made me somewhat angry more than anything else. It looked exactly like the Dead Trigger 1 trailer, where they're like "Look, it's so boring on any other device, but Tegra 3!! *whoosh* particle effects, bloom, lighting, etc"
What they should have highlighted were Tegra 4 -specific effects that honestly could not have been done on Tegra 3. For example, have zombies and other things casting shadows, as well as self-shadowing (something that hasn't really been seen in hardly any mobile game), perhaps add a simple depth-of-field filter to the game, etc
Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried to set the sticks in this when side loaded? I'm wondering if Dead Trigger supports southpaw set up of the stick controls as I have no idea how specific you can get with the control set ups. Any help or confirmation on this would be appreciated. I'd just like to know before I install something I'll probably have to delete down the road if it doesn't.
In game pad options There are entries for move up/and move left/right as well as aim up/down and aim left/right, so no reason you can't swap the sticks around. However you might have to bear with the righty controls for the tutorial before you are given access to the options.
