I'm not too sure about a ps2 emulator working on ouya. That would be super cool. At the very least a psp emulator would be awesome and you could still play gta vice city.

That list is very outdated, there are at least 10-15 emulators on the OUYA store alone. Add to that any sideloadable emulator.

But there will not be a PS2 emulator. The OUYA simply does not have that kind of power. There are PSP and DS emulators available, but I would say both are currently barely functional. Any system from PSX/N64 and backwards either have or will have emulators available.

Sweet. Thanks for the info. Yeah still waiting on my Ouya. Should be arriving today from Amazon. Spent forever trying to find it locally and gave up :/ Can't wait to play some of these classic games and some new ouya games.

No. Don't think the OUYA can handle it. Vice City's already on Android though. Tweet to Rockstar games if you want it on the OUYA. Maybe their heart will soften up once they get a few tweets/e-mails.

I can say that the PSP emulator works well in some cases. "SmackDown vs. RAW 2011" ran smoothly in most areas. Kingdom Hearts played at roughly 50% speed and Soul Calibur looked beautiful. If we EVER get PS2, it would have to be done by a dedicated team but I think PSP and Dreamcast will be the max, emulator wise for Ouya.

The Current Ouya isn't strong enough. We'd have to wait until the next Ouya has a Tegra 4 or something beefier, or hope a cloud service like Onlive or Grid streams games.

Emulate = yes, emulate at a playable speed = no.

Yes there's PSP emulation, it doesn't run full speed either. There's a huge difference between the PSP and PS2 architecture, the PSP also runs games at a lower screen resolution then what the PS2 does.
