IE isn't rubbish. If Microsoft followed web standards a bit closer and trusted their users enough to let them load extensions and plugins it would be a serious contender. As it is now, it's a castrated and ignorant little program, but it has the potential... I'd say. I'm no expert, so I'm sure there's things I don't know about.
