Can't download or Update Games/Apps anymore

Hi everyone,

I have a problem since yesterday that no more updates and downloads work. If I want to download or update a game, it is running the download, but once the download bar is full, it stops. It does not install itself. On the gameshell the bar just stays full, on the Play and Discovery menu the download bar is empty (?).

Sounds like your install space is full. Try to uninstall some games, mb it helps.

i still have over 4GB of free memory available. or does the ouya store the installfiles somewhere else which isnt mentioned somewhere?

did an factory reset now. now everything works as it should. i hope this won't happen again, otherwise i really think to sell the ouya, as the OS is still full of bugs... (like this one).

I think there is bound to be a few bugs initially - the Ouya team have already provided firmware fixes for other issues so I would bear with it for now.

They are a small team that have done well to get a product to market so quickly - think of how many updates the 360 and PS3 have had over the years.

Within a few months we should see any current bugs disapear with updates and hopefully the storage problem will be resolved

yeah, but bugs like these, that forces you to wipe your console (aka lose all your progress in games) really sucks. if at least you'd be able to backup your savestate, profiles etc... it wouldn't be this annoying.
