    Google search didn't come up with anything for me either, that's why I came here. I've tried multiple hard and soft boots and multiple movies. I have not tried reinstalling the app yet. I'll give that a try. Thanks.

    FYI. I tried reinstalling the app and I also tried a more advanced HDMI switchbox, but so far I still see a big red X when I play movies. If anyone else has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

    Setup:

    OUYA -> IOGear GHSW8181 8 port HDMI switchbox -> Onkyo TX-SR876 receiver -> Sony KDL-46W3000 TV

    Have you tried directly from the OUYA to the TV?

    I get the same issues as above, starts freezing pretty much after the opening credits roll, varies per movie. Just recently started getting the red x described above on some titles, still have sound but no picture. Rich Brown backer ouya right to the TV, multiple hard resets, uninstalled reinstalled. Really a bummer considering the +100 UV movies linked to my fixster account. Even after the July 17th update.

    For testing purposes, I tried directly connecting the OUYA to the TV, and that worked. This doesn't explain why my previous setup would be problematic. All the devices in the chain are fully HDCP compliant, and I can play blurays and Netflix streaming through other devices on the same switchbox without any issues. Only Flixster on the OUYA seems to have a problem with it. Unfortunately, my setup makes leaving the OUYA connected to the TV impractical. I guess my Flixster will just be useless until either OUYA or Flixster fixes the issue.

    For one more test, I just plugged my Android tablet into the switchbox, loaded up Flixster and I was able to stream videos that way. I'm not sure how different Flixster for OUYA is compared to the regular Android Flixster, but something is different.

    recap:

    Flixster on OUYA -> IOGear GHSW8181 8 port HDMI switchbox -> Onkyo TX-SR876 receiver -> Sony KDL-46W3000 TV = big red X, audio fine

    Flixster on Xoom tablet -> IOGear GHSW8181 8 port HDMI switchbox -> Onkyo TX-SR876 receiver -> Sony KDL-46W3000 TV = works fine

    Flixster on OUYA -> Sony KDL-46W3000 TV = works fine
