They were supposed to be released on June 27th, but apparently there is some sort of delay. I would imagine they were going to go live last night, but they were pulled back for some reason. Perhaps a bug, or something else.

This stuff always happens with Sonic games, it's nothing new ^_^
Anyway, will these be in my play section?
or will have have to go to the sideload menu?

If they were taken down it's for a reason. I think I'll wait for the official version.

While I appreciate the thought and effort, I think it might be a good idea to take the links down. Ouya is already starting to get a reputation as basically being "open" to piracy and that Achilles' heel of Android is one of the big reasons a lot of developers will stay away from Ouya. It might be a good idea to not reinforce that stereotype.

Piracy? How is this piracy? It's the free demo that anyone could have downloaded from the OUYA store yesterday.

Ultimately it's someone's fault over at the switch who either fell asleep, or they had a miscommunication. Either way, we didn't screw up! Imagine being the guy that's taking the fall for this bwahahaha!

For some reason they put it up there and then almost immediately took it down. There's always a reason for these kinds of things.

The second one has substantially more advanced graphics, and is optimised for Tegra. These episodes were originally released a couple years apart and a lot more effort was put into EpII, both technically and creatively, than the first one. I just downloaded and tried out these demos... unfortunately EpII doesn't have a good framerate, but is still playable.

I gave the second one a try from the totalouya app list--wow, what an awful game. Long rambling levels with lots of points designed to slow players down. Also, teaming up with tales seems to take what little fun is left away.
Sure isn't changing my mind about not buying from sega.
