EDIT: It seems like the USB issues are not only drive manufacturer related. The thread is no more active, since it did not help finding the issue!
So all across the forums USB issues show up.
For some people it works, for some people it does not work.
I have made some tests with a working drive to see what should not cause the issues.
partition table - tested GPT and msdos
partition type
filesystem name - tested some special chars in the name
filesystem type - tested ntfs, fat32
usb type - I have both 2.0 and 3.0 working
So that leaves us with: Manufacturer/chipset
This thread is to collect detailed information by all forum members, maybe we can find usb drives that work for everyone.
Just post below what drives you use, manufacturerer and size. And some more information if possible!
Thanks for contributing. I will keep the list up to date!

I have an 8GB SanDisk flash drive.
This one:

I've successfully mounted & used the following USB devices on my OUYA:
32GB PNY Thumbdrive
16GB SanDisk Cruiser Glide
2GB Memorex TravelDrive
500GB Western Digital Caviar Blue HD in a Galaxy USB enclosure
250GB Western Digital Caviar Green HD in a NexStar USB enclosure (which was setup with all of my ROMs, Music & Movies)
EDIT: A hard reset of the OUYA fixed my USB issues.

the usb problem for me is, that the ouya only recoginzes 1 USB mass storage at once. i'd like to have access to more than 1 simultaneously (via usb hub).
I've got:
WD My Passport Essential SE 750 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive (Midnight Black)
and
Toshiba Canvio 3.0 500 GB' GO' Hard Drive (it also says its a 3.0 & 2.0)
Both work perfectly formatted to FAT32

Do we need three different threads for this on the same page? Also, I think it's pretty clear it has nothing to do with the thumb drives. It's a firmware issue, as this didn't start happening to most of us until the last update.

Any mods around? It'd be nice to combine and sticky the three threads on this topic.
