I remember having a demo disc with IQ on it and I loved it. Definitely going to have to check this out!
Some of you may remember a puzzle game named Intelligent Qube (Kurushi Final in Europe) on the first PlayStation. You were playing a character trapped on a grid and you had to destroy waves of moving cubes to avoid being crushed to death... XP1728 is directly inspired by that game and actually draws all its gameplay mechanics from it.
Your goal is to survive by destroying every cube, except black ones. Every time you destroy a black cube, the grid loses one row, leaving you less room to complete the level. In addition, special cubes (orange, green, and blue) allow you to make combos, but be careful...you may tend to get overexcited and forget some black cubes
That game was originally designed for hardcore gamers and puzzle game specialists seeking for challenge. If you think you have some skills, go straight to the campaign mode and try to get the highest possible score. A leaderboard is here to make you shine, you just need to login with a Facebook account (sorry for that). And if you are a casual gamer, don't worry, an interactive tutorial is here to introduce the basic rules and show you all kind of tricks to win and improve your score.
With more than 120 waves, XP1728 will certainly bring you some challenge. And if you think this is too easy, or you don't know how to improve your scores, you can still get new avatars and improvements from the vault!
And here is a gameplay video from the mobile version (but running on an emulator on PC), but it's basically the same one on Ouya :
You can set graphics quality to high with a descent GPU on a PC. But the game is not playable in high on Ouya, not powerful enough. Hopefully the Ouya 2 will be able to handle it.

If this is the same as kurushi final I can't wait to play it, thanks for bringing this kind of thing back.
How does the pricing work? How much is it? I will be getting this straight away.

I shall be keeping a eye on this as I like puzzle games too.
Can't Wait 4: Dungeon Lord by Bovine Software. Order & Chaos Online name: Wicket and Larus
It's basically the same as Kurushi Final, I just added two types of special cubes (blue and orange, in addition to the original green), and built new levels. Also, when you complete levels you earn coins, allowing you to buy stuff from the vault, which can help you or slightly change the gameplay. For example there is an "improvement" to disable the collision detection around the grid, which means your avatar can fall if you don't pay attention, but in reward you get a huge bonus when the level is complete. You can buy coins through in-app purchases as well, but that's really for people who want to try everything quickly, because if you enjoy the game and play it regularly, you should be able to get enough coins to buy everything.
There are 6 packs of levels, one for each difficulty from beginner to hardcore gamer. The demo comes with the first level of each pack, allowing you to try all difficulties. The full game is $0.99 and unlocks the four last levels of each pack, with a total of 30 levels.
Finally, I've never seen anyone complete the final level. If someone here is able to do it, I'd be glad to pay him/her a beer![]()
This looks like a huge amount of fun. I love games that make you use your quick wit.
