Question Considering Developing for the Ouya!

I am an aspiring game developer, I am still in my infancy when it comes to game developing, but i can make some amazing things, well amazing to me anyway

I use Unity3d and I thought the Ouya would be a great device to release my first game on, it would be unique and i would be 'an Ouya developer'

On point, what style games are you guys wanting to see on the Ouya, i focus on 3d games, so they are preferred
and don't push my limits, remember, im aspiring

I already am considering a Twisted Metal esque game if i ever get around to developing for the Ouya and I already have some sort of 3d first person, open world survival style project in the works for PC that could be remade for the Ouya if it is of good quality.

Anyway, suggestions of what style games you would like to see on the Ouya store are appreciated as it gives me an idea of what to work for if i do decide to develop for the Ouya!

    Many thanks.

Moved thread to a more appropriate area of the forum. This is where the Devs talk so you'll end up with a better field of answers for the questions you are asking.

I believe he means cell shaded. There are cell shaders for Unity out there already that you could just pop in. With that said, Please don't release anything on the OUYA unless it is very polished. Ones first few games are generally not released to the public since they are generally not very good. There is nothing wrong with that, everyone has to start somewhere, but One of the majore problems I forsee with the OUYA is a bunch of new developers releasing unpolished, low quality games on it. This can become an issue real fast. Indie games are great. In face, some of my favorite games are indie, but indie shouldn't be associated with low-quality since all successful indie titles still hold to a fair quality standard.

I totally agree with Jonbon, make sure your OUYA release is well polished and made. I plan to release a few games on OUYA at some point but I know I'm not skilled enough quite yet so I'm holding out while I get more practice. Still though, would love to see what games you come out with though.
I'd personally love to see more 2D platformers with awesome art styles and intuitive gameplay.

Well if you want an example for what i really like to see and i guess if its nice to play it will find tons of lovers here in the community and out there.
Just a Pc Version, but its a beginning. Shooter like that are nice, even if you can play it with friends local or online.

Ah, i understand where you are coming from, and don't worry, anything i release to the public will be ultra polished, i will even do testing etc

I should have really re-phrased my initial post, i have made games before and not released them, this would be my first 'public game'

Cell shaders, yeah i thought he meant that, it confused me a little. I could do something like that, if it fit the game.

I actually believe i could do something like that, and make it really good aswell

Maybe not online multiplayer as i am unfamiliar with networking, but a split-screen would be a definite on one of them type of games. Ill write that down
