BDG Custom OUYA Case Thread.

BDG how detailed is your laser could it fit these on a ouya case and stay that detailed

ok good to know not sure if i want this or the NES ouya case being developed or stick with my wooden Nes I'm trying to build :/
but u do good work and u do make it hard for me to decide ah choices xD

One thing to bear in mind, even if the laser can do details at infinitesimal levels, below about 200-300 dpi, fine details on the tiny cube will be lost to the casual observer. I would stick to fairly simple designs, but that's me.

I'm near-sighted, so I can see the owl on the one dollar bill without any viewing aids, if I remove my glasses and hold it 1-2 inches away from my eyeball. Maybe you could throw such an easter egg into the design?

I've always heard it was a spider xD hiding in the one dollar

but yeah a lil hidden "Ouya" would prob be kool
btw just because im bored im seeing if i cant add megaman characters and zelda characters kinda like the mario one
since im waiting for a new usb hub to play with xD this is what i have so far

If the inside was painted would you loose the etching or would it help it stand out ???

Two Cases we cut out. The M in the Mario logo is cut out for the fan side.

Tried to spray it with Plasti Dip

I usually engrave the case on the inside because the engraving looks better and it works great with Lighting it up, but when you spray it you can't see it through the Acrylic and it will not work with LEDs under it.

It does look pretty good if you engrave it on the out side and spray it with Plasti Dip.

Can you paint it first and then engrave ?
that way the engraving will light up
or maybe clean the engraving out after its been painted?
