Backers can switch theirs?

Small quote.
"Based on feedback we've heard on those [early] units, as well as planned updates, the retail version is much improved," Uhrman told Digital Spy.
"You'll see changes in the UI where we are able to showcase significantly more content at once. The download process is much more seamless.
"The controller has had improvements, from buttons that no longer stick, to face plates that don't fall out when you shift because we've added tape.
Uhrman continued: "We've slowed down the cursor based on feedback, so we feel really good about the unit we're shipping on June 25.

It's a question, noticeable by the "?" at the end.
Obviously they made improvements on the hardware based on the feedback of the fully paying beta testers, which are now left with inferior hardware, if they can't switch controllers.
OUYA has said that they will switch out controllers if you got one of the bad ones. Just contact OUYA support and they'll take care of you (be aware that they are very swamped right now so it may take a bit to hear back).
I just received my unit, and it seems that I (luckily) have the new controllers.
At least now I can say that it was worth the wait![]()
Im still waiting for the final retail lunch
