To get your box art back, you'll need to go into the advanced settings of the OUYA > apps > fpse > clear data. When you restart fpse again, make sure to select Easy menu (or something like that) WARNING!!! This will also delete your savestates and all configured settings! Your Memory Cards *SHOULD* be saved. I did this just 30 minutes ago and it worked for me. As far as I can tell, there is no way to toggle between the easy menu and the advanced, but I may be wrong.

As for broken key configurations, what is still broken? Do you mean the remapping of the start/select? Everything works perfect for me in default with the newest update and I had MAJOR issues when I first tried it months ago. As stated above, start is mapped to touchpad+R1 and select should be mapped to touchpad+L1 (although I have not tested select) and works rather flawlessly. I actually was so impressed by my experience today that I purchased the app, which I had refused to do when it first came out due to the poor bugs. Sure there are still a few problems with settings saving, especially when you enable openGL, but I think it's the only PS1 emu (at least on android) that uses that, and the ONLY officially supported one on OUYA, so it's a bonus to have these settings. if they've improved this much since release, I can only imagine what will happen in another 5 months!

Running a game in default settings gives you an almost identical experience as playing it on the original PSX and that's good enough for me!

I have sideloaded the latest FPSE from google play and use the following settings to get a decent framerate out of Soul Blade, as this is usually my go-to testing game for 3D performance. I did buy FPSE from the OUYA store as well, however it seems to be an older build.. hopefully the dev will update it.

I am using the regular openGL Plugin not the enhanced.
I am also using Tegra overclock app.

    Following should be turned on:

    System:

    Fast Boot
    Boost Mode

    Audio:

    SPUSYNC
Reduce Latency (if audio is choppy)

    VIDEO

Framelimiter OPTIONAL (Only use if game is too fast, ie Rayman 2)
Force Landscape *(This offers a huge boost in speed)*
OffScreenDrawing - OPTIONAL (Fixes glitches, ie: Silent Bomber)
Mask Bit - OPTIONAL (Fixes see-through sprites)

I get a good 30-40 FPS in Soul Blade this way although the game does run slightly slow, Rayman 2 runs at a silky 60fps with these settings. I load the roms from an NTFS external hard drive. The funny thing is that my TF101 (overclocked to 1.5ghz) which is a Tegra 2 with Android Revolution ROM runs these games much faster with the same settings. The tablet is at 1280x800 resolution, however even modding the Tegra 3 OUYA to go to 720p, the performance is still not as good compared to the tablet. So yeah, there must a bottleneck in the OUYA somewhere which is hampering performance, or perhaps the OUYA is slower because it force renders at 1080p natively which is what is causing the issue.

It's certainly a headscratcher as to why performance is worse on the OUYA. I've heard messing with the Drawing Thread Priority setting can help on multicore devices as Tegra 3 is a quad core chip.

Let me know if the OUYA version gets the same performance with these settings.

    *Edit

I set Drawing Thread Priority as "1" in the MISC menu and got Soul Blade up to 60fps at 1080p. So with the right settings this EMU can be tweaked to run fullspeed in OPENGL on the OUYA.

I tried sideloading several psx emu's - None of which worked or had Touch icons taking up the whole screen.

I have tried a few games in FPse without any issues, But didnt want to purchase, simply because of the red BUY NOW button, that put me off for weeks.

I Have not caved and purchased as i simply could not get any other PSX Emu to work.

I have not had any issues with FPse since i purchased, and what games i have tired work well.
