So... The ones responsible (I start to think you guys take that role since you are the ones responding) haven't gotten any heads up, didn't mean any harm and are willing to change things around a bit (I read something about maybe moving the chat box a bit)? I think this is enough for the "management" to work with, I don't think there's too much of a problem here.

Yep. I rather liked the 'R' (or possibly worse) rated chats on the occasion they would come up. We never insulted anybody, it was more just general crassness and lewd humor. I do agree that a blanket rule of 'PG-13' would benefit the forum as it saves the messages and usually is the first place new people turn to when they have a panic-y question.
