Man that's pretty bad...have you written to them about it? Send them those photos.
I love the light coppery look of the LE (still waiting for mine), but it seems that up close and personal the controller in particular look a bit tacky. The seams for the battery covers are obvious and unrefined and the D-pad still looks a bit cheap. I think it's the two-tone colour that makes it look worse - the battery covers look too obvious. Maybe if they made the seam area black, and then had some curvy copper accents further away so the colour clash is not so straight and obvious.
Oh well, it is a first-run by a new company, so hopefully Ouya can only improve with future versions.

Nah... Cosmetic flaws don't effect the functionality, and I won't even think about them few days from now.
The sticking buttons did effect the functionality, as did the very squeaky and slightly sticky R2 and L2 triggers.
I used a 7/16" drill bit in a drill press to fix the sticky button issue (perfectly sized drill bit for that fix by the way), and I disassembled both controllers and applied very light grease to the R2 and L2 trigger mechanisms. Those now operate perfectly. I'm not sure why they didn't apply some grease at the factory.
I'm kind of surprised I ended up with what appears to be the first generation of controllers, since I received my OUYA so late in the game.
