Anyone else experiencing a gradual loss in volume while playing GBC.emu? It returns to normal at certain points of the games, but as a song continues to play the volume gradually gets lower.
This thread is for the discussion of GBC.emu. (note to developer - send me a private message if you would like to edit this thread)

Hey 9bitstrider,
I haven't played with it in a couple weeks or so, but that was not my experience with it. I was playing for some good hours at a time, too.
Is this a new issue for you or is that how it's been since the beginning?
Is it only happening in a certain game or series of games? Or is it happening to different ones too?
Maybe from there we can try to figure out what's happening.

It's on a brand new Ouya and I only just noticed the problem today playing Mega Man Dr Wily's Revenge. The entire game experienced the drop in volume. It would pick back up whenever I'd exit the emulator menu to resume play, beat a boss, or anytime the music changes from one track to another. I'll try different games when I get home.

Only just noticed it, so might not have happened before? Or not sure?
I played some Dragon Warrior I & II for a spell, and the audio seemed fine as it has been for me.
I'm running mine from Nostalgia though, but I don't think that would make a difference...?
I guess we'll see how trying other games goes for you and go from there.![]()

This is the first time I booted up the emulator on my Ouya. I'll let you know the test results later.
After testing a few games, the issue is isolated to the Mega Man DWR (U) ROM file.
Games Tested:
Super Mario Land (U)
Mega Man II (U)
Wario Land 3 (U)
Dragon Warrior I+II (U)
Alleyway (U)
Shantae (U)
All other games work fine.

This is the only emulator by Broglia in which I experienced slowdowns, namely with Super Mario Land 2. Two options I find missing are the washed colors and the SuperGameBoy frame, which is the way I usually play fullscreen on VBA. Good emulator anyway.
Most of the time I keep my OUYA offline: please consider it before inserting a phone-home/always online DRM in your game. If you still plan to do so, please declare it. You don't want pirates, I don't want to be frauded.
