MD.emu (Sega Genesis / Mega Drive emulator) - Robert Broglia

During the beginning of the game while the main character is talking, the text just freezes and you can not do anything. I tried playing around with the emulator and no luck. I searched all over the forums here and I could not find a solution to my problem. Please if anyone can help I really love this game and I wanna play it on my ouya. (and yes I do own the game, but my sega cd died)

Well did you mess with the settings? I haven't used the emulator yet but being an emulator you should have the options to change the settings and such. I can't give you specifics but try it, and if it doesn't work try Retroarch or some other emulator if there is another.

I have tried messing with the setting yesterday. Nothing has changed but i was able to get past the freeze text part but now in the menu everything is glitched out of control. And retro-arch does not even load the game.

Ok so does Sega CD games work with this emulator without some hocus pocus? I REALLY wanna play Night Trap and such. Can anyone help with info???

I have about 3-4 Sega CD isos to play with MD.emu , all works fine except Willy Beamish.

Get rid of MD.Emu as its based on an outdated version of Genesis Plus GX and use Retroarch instead which comes with the most recent Genesis Plus core which plays everything SegaCD related.

Ok, so as a new Ouya owner, how do I go about getting RetroArch? And how do I properly install and run it? I'm not very tech savy so please if you can simplify it.

It's in the Discover store under Retro. I can't believe how tedious this process is and can only imagine how you're feeling. I'm not enlightened about SEGA CD emulation at all unlike (quite) a few other users on here so could one of you please help him?
