If you don't know the original KILLING FLOOR on PC, it's a first person shooter based on online survival cooperative multiplayer.
10 waves of enemies to kill. At the 11th the boss, a mad doctor with an RPG.
This game was created from an Unreal MOD, an enhanced version.
If you want to play it, can find it on STEAM at ridiculously low prices.
I played it for hundreds hours, is a GREAT game.

The top-down OUYA version, from my eyes, is a possible KILLER APP (a great surplus against the other microconsoles).
Well, reading that news my first thought has been "that could be a Killer Application".
I extremely loved the original Killing Floor, played more than 300 hours with a bunch of good friends on PC.
A fantastic game.
THAT version isn't same as PC version, it's a spin-off with top-down visuals, but with similar game mechanics. It could result similar to Alien Swarm, Dead Nation, or a heavy enhanced version of the -boring- Nation Red.
I really bet (and hope) for a great game here, there is enough material for a fantastic co-op ultra-blooding gaming.
HOWEVER, I must say (and that's an info from Tripwire Official Forum) that the OUYA's Killing Floor Calamity isn't developed directly by Tripware.
Tripware here is moving as a producer, and the game is being developed by ZEAL Game Studio (previously authors of not-so-great games like Dwarfs, A Game of Dwarves, etc. etc). This Killing Floor could be the first big step of Zeal, I really hope so.
