I've seen this feature across several other forums before. End result being is that you can't ignore the staff members.

*EDIT* Not to mention that this could cause problems due to confusion. Nobody would know what the hell you're talking about because...

Post two: Answer(That you can't see)
Post three: You(which causes confusion)

The forum I frequent most is where this forum should strive to be. They use the ignore option and it's great. People know that if they ignore people you might miss part of the conversation and people do it because it's worth it.
