Actual Forum Suggestions. Input And Additions Needed!

I'll look for better alternatives but it's certainly one of the more important suggestions but for right now. Take five, lol.

I would consider paying for it if I was absolutely thrilled with it, but right now from what I see, I am not.


As for the moving of posts. I don't like moving them without a redirect because the posters tend to wonder what happened to them. I have been moving posts and leaving only a "1 day" expiring redirect. Would that suffice?

As for Arrowchat, they charge $45-$295 for the software and I am not even sure I like it.

I wouldn't imagine that the Premium and definitely not the Business version would be necessary. Perhaps a "donation" button could cover the cost of it, I know I'd be willing to donate something for a chat improvement.

It reminds me too much of facebook, and I feel it would not be utilized as much, not being on the top of the site.

I feel it would be used more than the current chat. It stays on the bottom of every page on the site whereas the current chat only appears on the Index page. It's also nice that multiple chat rooms can be setup. There could be an OUYA chat, OnLive chat, and a General chat.

I understand completely, lol. This is your forum and even if it wasn't. Nobody deserves to spend that much on a ChatBox.

I forgot this problem that we aren't considering Bagheadinc. The Staff Forum is located at the bottom of the page and this could cause a lot of problems for those who just want to check it. If I remember correctly, IRC caused the same problem because whenever a person was scrolling down on the page while their mouse icon crossed paths on the IRC Chatbox. It would stop scrolling the main page and scroll IRC instead.

I see... I must of been traumatized by IRC. As I said, I will be looking for alternatives.

Great point, Swift. ArrowChat allows for a 10 day trial.
