Staff Overhaul.

After much thinking it has come to my attention that this websites staff is in need of a serious overhaul. Before I continue... Yes I'm aware that people have lives.

I've been a guest on this forum nearly since its creation and joined much later in its life due to warming up to the OUYA. I've accumulated nearly one-thousand posts on here with some helping, some flaming, and some just being empty post. I don't claim to be the perfect member nor the most devoted person when it comes to OUYA but the increasing amount of inactive staff members is getting ridiculous. Not only are most of the staff here inactive, but when they are online; they don't even interact with the community. Or fuck, they hardly do much at all.

I don't intend to be (too)mean or anything, but do you guys REALLY think you're dedicated enough with what free-time you have to do your job properly? I joined in March and only realized a moderator by the name of SamJ. WHERE THE HELL WAS HE?! For that matter, who the hell is Hellraiser?! It's stuff like this that I don't understand why you two are even members, let alone staff. Seems to me you could of been guest from the beginning and made just as a big of a difference.

When the forums have a problem, it takes at least three hours for a moderator to respond back. Just to move a post or edit one that warrants on flaming. I find this extremely dangerous as a situation that needs staff immediately could be just around the corner, and nobody will be there to help. Like this for example when VDZ was poking a very "awful" bear.

BronerGames, JCPRuckus, and Jawdy deserve major rewards or something. They're the most helpful staff you guys have on here as they interact with the community regularly, respond to request quickly, and hell even BronerGames is a active Chatbox user who can respond to immediate real-time emergencies. I'll say it again... BronerGames is the best moderator you have on here; period.

James Andrew Coote and AdyCarter are extremely helpful too but are much less active, but the previous stated three make up for this fact.

Sandman, D_Bennen, Jack_Mcslay, and all the rest of the lot of you are inactive as fuck. You're actually not even worth it to go into how lazy you are so I'll just leave it at this.

I don't care if you knew some of these people from past forums or not. If they can't do the job you appointed them to do, then what's the purpose of them? How many times did I ask you for a forum favor because they can't do two shits? Why are you doing their job? I can't disagree with the person who said you can't run the forum. It's not that you're a bad person, but are leaving the forum in the hands of people who don't even go out of their way in the slightest to help out more.

I see constant things that need to be moved, locked, edited, and deleted. I contact BronerGames because he's the only one I can rely on as he's very kind and is on the forums a lot. You run the forums perfectly in a owner's sense which is what your supposed to be doing. But like a boss, you have no idea what your workers need in order to be happy. All you care is "big" picture and the results of OUYA. If you keep these people I guarantee that most of your dedicated members including myself will leave for different forums. Look at this last conversation I kept and it was only two days ago...

I have the unedited, complete conversation with all the untrimmed fat but the point stands. A staff overhaul is needed. You know what to do, don't you?...

OUYA Forum is looking for some helpers - apply here

Hello guys,

With the June launch of OUYA coming up soon, we need a few helpers to help manage some stuff on this site. Below is what we are looking for:

1 - Someone that can continuously update our "List of Side loadable apps/games" thread (http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?...t-work-on-OUYA). We need someone that will be able to do research daily by surfing the net (twitter, facebook, youtube, google, etc), and finding apps that have been successfully sideloaded into OUYA. They would be responsible for updating this thread on a daily basis with new apps/games, as well as add a brief description of the app/game and details on it (see current thread). (We are looking for 2-4 people to do this)

2 - Someone that can help manage our OUYAStarter thread (http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?...d-your-support) which lists current kickstarter and indiegogo project that have plans for OUYA. It would need to be maintained on a daily basis, and you will be responsible for finding new stuff on these sites that have either goals or stretch goals for OUYA. (We are looking for 1-2 people to do this)

3 - Someone to manage a new OUYA FAQ folder. Your job would be to search the net, OUYA.tv, Google, this forum, etc and come up with new frequently asked questions on a daily basis. Each question will be a new thread, and you will be responsible for posting both the question and the answer. (We are looking for 4-5 individuals to do this)

^ Yep, I really only come here for the Chat because that's where all of the regulars/chill people hang out. I'm a mod on another (non-OUYA) forum where something like this is happening to the site admins, they are like ghosts and I'm the only active mod left. Luckily Eddie is here and works very hard but there just isn't enough support from the surrounding teams.
