Saw the new trailer while investigating for more information on Twitter. Looks a lot better, but I find myself oddly turned on how the Cube says "You only need me". The gameplay and lighting looks tons better and I'm glad there is a story element to it

I need to work on the story, I dont have the slightest idea about the point of the story yet...

Yes, I know.

Well from the trailer it seems he was transported there from Earth(?) by unknown means, so...

Why is he there? Forced there by some greater unknown force/entity.
Why does he not turn back? Could be basic survival and trying to get back home.
What is the Cube and its motive? Another "thing" that was taken by the cosmic force/entity that inevitably lost to whatever it is and lost its memory as the price to pay for failing. Curiosity and maybe finding out its own back-story due to not remembering.
Where did the Cube come from and how is it related to the main character? Another tortured soul that was also transported to where you are in the past from an unknown place. Trying to help the human to escape for reasons it doesn't even "remember".

In the end it remembers its reasons for being there and why it helped you as you were the same as it when it first joined.

I just gave a rough example but those are the main storytelling parts that need to be focused on. There are minor things I might of missed but I think I covered the basic major storytelling elements. I look forward to the result of your brainstorming.

You're very much welcome, Evigz Once June 25th rolls around and I (hopefully) get my OUYA; I'll play your game and give you feedback. I love these types of games as they test your reflexes and mind.

I have worked hard on the game the past 2 weeks, and I decided it was time to share another gameplay video.



I have completed 2 chapters, and im about 20% done with the third.
The game wont be released the 25th because I havent received my console yet.

I still hope to release before the ≈ 10th of july.
