I completed A link to a past on Snes9x but it had such huge input lags and slowdowns towards the end of the game.
Super Gnes is unplayable at some point.

With snesoid I had no problems.

my input which I didn't see mentioned is SuperGNES which I use on my phones and tablet and love and paid for does not have a way to change save directory on Ouya. Snes9x does so that made it a win for me. I run all my roms on a usb flash drive which is read only.

Has anyone else tried snesoid? I tried the Snes emulator that comes with retroarch but it crashed a lot.

I tried Snesoid but the problem is it's outdated and has no current support (from what I hear). It's a bit slow and really hard to use with the OUYA controller.

As for the issue someone was having with their ROM's not working, did you get them all from the same source? If so, try downloading from somewhere like coolrom, i've never had any problems with theirs

For me, Snes9x has input and sound lag, but with Super GNES it doesn't give any input or sound lag as all my ROMs are loaded from my 1 TB external hard drive. Is there something missing in Snes9x and the other .EMU emulators that are doing bad with this lag issue?

I haven't had any problem with SNES9x, just installed it, located my ROM's, and played. No sound or input lag.

Just to let you all know, all of the SNES Emulators, whether it be Ouya or sideloaded Android version, have 100ms delay. That's is the truth. If you experience more than 100ms delay, that is your HDTV's fault not the emulator's.
I've compared it with my HDTV and Computer Monitor. HDTV has a really bad delay (Felt like 400ms) until I turned on Game Mode on my HDTV, the delay was around 100ms-200ms. My computer monitor had 100ms delay average. With this test I've concluded that both GSNES and SNES9X EX+, I tested both of them, have a 100ms delay no matter what. Even on a Android phone it had that delay. I also used a PS3 and Wired Xbox 360 controller. This applies to sound delaying too.

Just a heads up. Robotrek by Enix doesn't load up on Super Gnes, but works fine on Snes9x.

    Super GNES vs Snes9x

I bought a USB Super Nintendo controller that works, but some of the buttons are off..does anyone know if you can map the controller on super gnes? I'm downloading snes9x because I'm sure you can change it on there, but I like the layout for gnes and also, I already paid for it -_-
