Hmm............ I'm not sure you should take away people's privacy with staff able to see private messages. Defeats the purpose of "private" and even if they are the most trusted people on the planet, that's infringing on people's rights and isn't cool at all. I've had many private conversations with hundreds of people across the internet and the stuff they brought to me which includes staff complaints and the like, would of gotten them banned in a heartbeat. Not because they were harsh about the filed complaint, but because how would you feel if somebody was going to somebody to get you removed? Respectful or not you would be pissed at the person and would punish them.

FWIW there is no system in existence where Admins cannot read PMs. Its just not something shouted about or frequently done.
