Calling All Ouya Backers: Thank you so much for all of your incredible support! When we first conceived of the concept for this and began the Kickstarter, never could we have expected this huge outpouring of interest. Your support has been amazing, but we must admit that we've gotten slightly overwhelmed! As a startup company, we don't have the supply lines in place yet that other console developers do. With that in mind, we greatly appreciate all of you your patience as we move forward in shipping consoles out. You all pledged your financial and conceptual support as we were building our dream, and we pledge to you that we are doing our very best to get that dream in your hands as soon as possible. We apologize for some of the 'growing pains' our company has experienced during this process, but assure you that you will receive your OUYA before it hits the retail market. Thank you for being a part of turning our dream into a reality!

If this is a true its took them long enough but would be welcomed. You hold you hands up you take the initial bad hit but you gain more in the long run. 3 weeks late though...

I'm not so sure I believe this. If it was on Reddit and twitter, I would imagine it would be in Google somewhere, and it is not. Can you please provide a link?

Well, can't see this (or any links to it) on twitter in the last 12 hours (and trust me, I'm obsessive when it comes to searching for these things). Also doesn't appear in twitter feeds of any of the OUYA staff I'm following. It's not on ouya.tv nor a kickstarter update (unless it is to a specific tier that doesn't include me) so yeah, I'd really like to know what the source for this is

It's a fake most likely, you can't post on Twitter such long text and the source above is the only one on the internet for this.
