If this shipping date is pushed back, then that means Retail is pushed back. If I receive my console after it hits stores, I'm gonna be pissed!

I'd bet they'll open a separate factory line for the early preorders, since those won't have the engraved $10,000 backers on the cases, so could manufacture and start shipping those ones simultaneously with the end of the Kickstarter backers. And I disagree that retail would be pushed back if early preorders are pushed back, unlike Kickstarters those preorders were not promised to ship before retail.

i think it's imporant to have this testing period between early pre-orders and launch in june. the more people have their hands on ouya and are online the better. so I hope for their own sake they really ship 24/7.

Dreamzle forgot that yeah, so should be pretty reasonable that they will go out as planned. Still one then wonders what the f*** is taking time with the kickstarters ones...

Are you kidding? If the Kickstarter/pre-sale people get there OUYAs, like them, and start pushing positive buzz about it, they'll probably ship whatever they have even if it's a low number. If something has a positive buzz and people can't buy it, they'll want it even more. It's just important that kickstarter folks a) actually start to get them before they're completely over with this whole thing and b) actually like it once they get it. If the Kickstarter crowd doesn't like it, this thing is dead before it's even launched.

I pre oredered in february and at this point I'm just going to be patient. Even if I do end up getting mine after retail hits, which in its own right would be very disappointing, I think this console will suck up a lot of my time once I get it anyways as long as I find some solid games to get hooked on
