    PiX Bros - PiX Juegos

    Hi,

I am Pablo Navarro from PiX Juegos. I've just registered to introduce one of the games we've ported to OUYA!

PiX Bros it's some kind of classical arcade games mix. It's about three siblings who argue about which is the best game ever: Snow Bros, Bubble Bobble or Tumble Pop.

The game is completely free, without ads and open source. I'm sure you will enjoy it

I've finally received my OUYA, and it seems the game is very laggy on 1080p :\

Those issues have been solved and the game should be working AWESOME by the end of the week

I tried this yesterday. Can't complain of a free game

There's a few things that could make the game better, dunno if you want any kind of feedback

Any feedback is welcome, but this game is almost dead, like a forever WIP.

We expect to have solved the multiplayer issues in a few weeks. After that, the game will become a lot funnier in local multiplayer, having each player with a different player.

I must admit I only played with the Bubble Bobble character and the Snow Bros character.

First, be careful with copyright. I am pretty sure you can't use the name of games from other companies without their consent, this may cause you trouble. Without citing the name of the games, I would identify all the game "honoured" in your game without you citing their names. I guess most people who would care about it would be able to identify the games anyway Since your game is free, I don't think that's a big problem, yet I'd be more careful about it. (That's the same thing about that Pang game of yours ,though I think the company who owns the Pang name has busted years ago )

The title screen has an art style that doesn't fit the rest of the game. That title screen looked really weird and out of place.

With the bubble bobble guy, it was hard to see the enemies I had "bubbled" among all the other bubbles when the screen was filled with bubbles.

Also, not getting ANY points when killing enemies was really unfair. Every enemy killed with the bubble bobble guy gives me points, but the Snow Bros guys only gets bonus itens when you actually roll a snow ball against other enemies. That really unbalance the game.

You should give points for every enemy killed no matter how, and then give bonus in just certain situation. The Snow Bros mode is right , but the Bubble Bobble guy should only get bonus items when you pop multiple enemies at the same time, it would be more similar to the real Bubble Bobble game.

Other than that, the game is pretty enjoyable

    Thanks for your feedback, Rafael

This game is a homage to the genre, specially Snow Bros. We don't care about copyright.
As soon as we get any legal problem with it, we will take measures to solve them, but, by now, we prefer to show the games which inspired this 3 in 1 game. The same for PiX Pang.

I'm writing those suggestions on our bug list, but expect none to be solved as this game is almost abandoned.
