Hey everyone - just wanted to drop by and let you guys know that Saturday Morning RPG is out on the OUYA Store! Check it out on the main featured page (at the end, I think) or in the RPG genre category.

The first episode of the game is free and runs anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes in length. The additional three episodes (and two more in the future) are a $5.99 IAP. Between all four episodes, the total playtime is 10 to 20 hours. Plus, there is an essentially infinite new game plus mode wherein you can play any episode any number of times in any order to continue to build your character.

I enjoy the Saturday Morning RPG game. It is the first game I purchased on the Ouya.

I do not understand, though, the difference between the red and blue arrows. Also, is there a way to see the attributes of items in the vending machine without purchasing them?

The red arrow is pointing towards your main quest goal while the blue arrows are pointing towards your active side quest's goals.

We kept stats off the vending machines to encourage experimentation with objects.

Definitely give the game a shot whenever you get the chance! It's a huge change of pace from traditional JRPGs and is a pretty unique experience (especially if you're a fan of Saturday morning cartoons!).

This was my first purchase too. I love the 80s pop-culture references and the Paper Mario style combat

I've also purchased the game and i like it very much. Good work guys! and keep going it would be nice to see more games like this!

I don't know about the cartoons but there's some situations that made me laugh and the combat system are stimulating enough

Here's an Ouya specific tip that took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out ... scratching the stickers really only works going side-to-side. Going up and down or at angles just wastes your time.
