This app allows you to use your Android tablet or smart phone as a keyboard for the Ouya. You will also need to download the client app for your tablet or smart phone from Google Play. Simply search Alienman Tech and the Blue Board app will be there.

I'm quite certain it's an Ouya screenshot of the app. What's wrong with it?

I quite like the fact that I will be able use my smartphone to type on, actually. Well done to the developer!

I'm kind of impressed on how well this works. Only a few nagging issues. One, wish I could use the keyboard of your choice. Two, wish after you hit Enter or finished a fillable field, that it would clear the window out.

Doesnt work with my tablet, does it has to be same android version ??
My tablet is 4.0.3 I guess. Got the two apps one in tablet the other in ouya
And said connected on both systems but it didn't write anything....

Suggestions:

1. Use device's default keyboard (whether Google, Default, Go, Swift, etc).
2. Add a trackpad to the interface list (currently just Controller and Keyboard).
3. Fix the Controller input... only 1 or 2 of the buttons function even though I'm connected and the keyboard works.

Despite these, it's still a really useful app to avoid hunt-and-peck with the tiny touchpad or crappy D-pad on the Ouya controller. Thanks!

Wait, is this an app that lets me use my iphone or tablet to control the Ouya's interface? I think this box just got a bunch more useful.

I tried this with chatting in Order & Chaos Online and the input box GOES FULL SCREEN. Why is this?
Successive attempts are now giving a socket error and the phone app is failing to connect. I haven't tried everything like unpairing and rebooting the Ouya and phone.
I really like the idea of this program as my phone has a backlit physical keyboard.
