OUYA Store Available Online? - OUYA Forsale in Japan - 9 Games Added to OUYA Store & More

    - The OUYA Store is Available Via the Web..... or maybe not!
For those of you who have not yet received your OUYA, earlier today it was noted that users could view the entire OUYA store online via a particular website. That's right, simply by visiting (WARNING: some users are seeing pornographic material when clicking this link - we aren't sure why, but perhaps the person that made this site is messing with people - click at your own risk) http://78.129.218.249/ouya/, you can/could view what is currently available in the OUYA store. There is more discussion on this in our forum, and apparently games are downloadable, according to some users. Thanks to OUYA Gaming Source for originally pointing out this URL via twitter. As of the time this article was being written, the "mock" OUYA store is currently up at this URL. It however appears as though it is certainly not an official website, and perhaps could have malicious intent (click at your own risk). The store does show images of each game along with some minor details.

    - OUYA Forsale in Japan at 19,800 Yen!
Well, OUYA certainly looks to be making a name for itself world-wide. It has been announced that the OUYA is now available for purchase in Japan. The price? How about 19,800 Yen (approximately equal to $207.50). However, if you pre-order the console before the end of April, the price will be reduced to 14,800 Yen ($155.10). An extra controller will cost you 6,800 Yen ($71.25). It appears as though those gamers in Japan will be stuck paying a bit more than their US/UK counterparts.

    - 9 Games Added to the OUYA Store Since Launch!
That's right, OUYA has already added 9 additional games to their store, since the console's soft launch on March 28th. Those games that have been added include:
    *Adrenaline
    *Bionauts Online
    *Blue Board
    *Critical Missions: SWAT Free
    *Doomsday Zombies
    *iJezzball
    *Mad Monkeys
    *No Brakes Valet
    *Rose

Check out the entire list of games available on the OUYA store, along with a link to their discussion thread on this forum that allows you to talk about the game with the developers in our List of OUYA Games thread.

    - Horrendous Review
As many of you already know, OUYA received a 3.5/10 in a review by TheVerge. The review gave OUYA horrible marks in the "Software" and "Games" Categories. Many OUYA fans have been posting rebuttals to this review, which can be read at: http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?...l-review-today

Yeah... I'm not visiting that store anymore even if everything was free. Good news on the other things like Doomsday Zombies.

    Verge can go to hell.

There were 2 games pulled from the OUYA store "Lord of Portals" and "Blood".

The reason for this might be that the it appears that Lord of Portals was an illegally uploaded version of "Hexen II" and Blood might be the game "Blood", neither of which were owned by the developer who uploaded them.

No worries Spectre. Seems to be up in its original form again. I checked for you.

Wow people uploading old games. That is to funny and a great way to get themselves banned as a developer.

The site linked at the top of the article is our development site where we're testing things. No pornography is hosted, nor are we messing with people. Thank you for the feedback though

Ouyawebstore, I saw with my own eyes pornographic material on the URL. How do you explain that? Do you represent OUYA in any way?

The link in the thread was unchanged when I clicked it. I saw the URL was the same with my own eyes.
