Sitting here, writing down the prices of as many games as I can possibly find got me thinking...
If we download a game, purchase it's content, uninstall the game and install it again at a later time. Will we then still have access to the bought content?
I mean, just like the Google Play store where the purchases are bound to your account, and if you want to download a purchased game again later,
you can do so without being charged again.
I would think the Ouya works like this, but I'm not really sure.
Maybe some developer or general know-how guy can answer this question?
Purchases are linked to your account. So you could even log into a friend's console and have access to stuff you've bought.
Expanding on this, will there be any crosstalk with google play? say I have canabalt through the play store, do i need to buy it again? secondly, humble android bundles, can they be installed?
thanks in advance for any protips.
No cross talk, Ouya is AOSP based so no Google Certification/Framework or store. You "could" sideload any APKs you bought from Google Play but aspects may not function and the experience wouldn't be the same as the Ouya specifc version (things such as resolution and pad support for example)
