Guess you wont be doing a review on Rage Runner anytime soon, doubt anyone will beat this one for at'least 3 months.(Except possibly RiotingSpectre

    This isn't a 7-days task.
Actually, I'm doing a review only if I can do it.
Isn't a full-time work, and nobody pay me. I do it for a pleasure, for my passion to videogames.
Our site is an online magazine made from gamers to gamers, no Big Names behind.

However, what Valky said is true, the reviewer risks to try too quickly a game and too quickly determine a vote, that is -at last- only a "number".
Most important thing is playing deeply, from start to end, and without anxiety of a deadline coming.
To be a -good- game reviewer is a pretty hard task. You should need a certain experience, you should be a gamer that knows about videogames of the last decades, preferably having played them. I almost have 35 years, I played from MSX to Amiga, from Playstation 1 to Dreamcast.... I skipped only the X360/PS3gen. because many of the console games were playable on Steam. Not a complete experience, but a good one.

I say "Good Luck" to you and the others planning to be reviewers, could be your way, who knows

    p.s.
A game developer may give free game codes for reviews, I think that isn't a problem for him... no costs to support, no copies to ship, OUYA shop is all "digital delivery".
If he's sure about the real value of his creation, he knows that the (positive) reviews will greatly spread the word around the world.

    p.p.s.
sorry for my bad english, however I hope you understood my thoughts

@Akulya: I recommend creating a list in your first post detailing which games you are going to review first. On a unrelated note(there's a pun here but you have to read on), I noticed that there are a lot of off topic posts which a large portion are mine in your two threads. If you want, you can get a mod to brush the leaves off your porch. They'd be happy to do it.

@Hypercane: I'd love to test my metal but getting a Ouya in June might actually be a problem as things keep needing to be replaced over here and money is tighter than my sleepwear in the morning

P.S This goes with the other leaves too if it get's swept.

Someone needs to list what kind of ethernet port this thing has. I don't understand how nobody has yet...is it 10/100 or gigabit???

Hmmm...at this point probably only the creators know :/ anything I've seen just states "Ethernet" (i even tried looking it up!) it may be a while until I even get mine. I was at the tail end of kickstart.

Happy to see my game mentioned in this thread WhiteWater 3D Our game should be out by the time the public gets their hands on the console.
