Midnight Tinkering Combat Demonstration - Midnight Tinkering

We will be continuing this project with a new game to be released before the public OUYA launch.
-- You can see a demonstration of the changes so far here. --
Below is the trailer for this project.

This is a unique combat method that gives the user more speed, control and a smoother flow of actions which
hasn't been achieved yet in anything I have previously played. There is great potential with this setup and I'd
like to share our early combat demonstration with you to see how you react to it.

I would also like the opportunity to continue to work on this and develop a new version with a much greater
range of depth in your actions and flexibility of combat, but to work on that I'd like to see a response to
how people feel about the project as it is in its current early stages.
Ideally if the feedback/response is positive I plan to work on a new version for the retail release of OUYA in June.

    Update:-
The trailer has been completed and the project has now been accepted/published so I've edited the first post appropriately,
hopefully the trailer gives you a better idea of what to expect, and I hope you enjoy experiencing this type of gameplay.

A more freestyle mêlée combat system is something I've been hoping to see ever since the first 3D Zelda game. Instead of memorizing enemy patterns or using the "designated opening creating secondary weapon", I always wanted to have to use movement, and feints to create openings which I would then be able to aim for. While that's not exactly what you seem to have there, it's certainly a step in the right direction. I truly hope that you continue developing it.

Thank you very much for the positive response, that mirrors my feelings exactly and is part of the direction I would love to move the project
forward in, I'm really happy to see your understanding of the project, and if we are able to continue working on this for the future I'd be
honored to have people like yourself who share the same ideals to provide feedback as we move along and share our progress.

    UPDATE:-
Based on the feedback so far we plan to continue working on this project and the first post has been edited to include the new details.

    UPDATE:-
Changes have been made to how we are moving forward. Because of reasons explained in further detail here it would be better for the end result to not spend time on v1.1 and instead continue forward working on v2.
I have though made a video showing the changes for the basic combat here, and I've updated the first post.
