Akulya's Aww'd Afterthoughts #1- The Greetings

Greetings! Let me make this as painless as possible :)

Specs:

My Name: Tamara, but please call me Akulya [pronounced uhh-cool-yuh]

Who I am: I'm not much of anything; a soon-to-be college graduate (Class of 2013!) with a BA in English- Creative Writing. I have a fiancée who also uses these boards and a 12 month-old son. I am hoping to get into writing professionally, review writing would be cool to get paid for; but what I really want to do is write Storylines for a video game company along with writing novels. That's probably enough to bore you for now, but if for some reason you want to know more, feel free to ask.

My Purpose: To provide everyone with spoil-free reviews. I will attempt to provide a TL;DR (or an "I don't care to read an entire article") portion at the end, but will have a longer review for those of you who would like more detail. This may be something that would just be useful to me as a reader, so I would love to hear our input! I know when I am reading a review, I am looking for specific points and hate to read through a whole page of rambling. I don't have time for that jazz and don't want to waste yours either (besides, I have an infant who doesn't allow for time to read long articles, or if I even try, I lose my place halfway through due to him getting into stuff)

When to expect me: I plan on posting once a month, ideally around the 5th (I just like five...) with the exception of April; I out my OUYA will be in by then and I won't have had time to beat anything, yet.

My Genres: I am slightly picky and won't be covering all genres of games, however, there are more that I will cover than won't, so it is easier to tell you the genres that I avoid playing (and won't be reviewing) are horror, RTS, sports, and simulation.

Since you are planning to review games and apps, your posts/threads might run really long. Instead I would suggest you setup your review articles whenever you get time and post as when you can making review on the particular game/app one at a time.

Yeesssss. I was kind of debating doing that if for some reason I was able to cover more than one thing within a month (my son hardly lets me get anything done as it is lol), I will definitely do separate posts. A single one could get too confusing and would be a pain in the buns for someone wanting a specific review; thanks :)
