Hi all, you may of heard of WhiteWater 3D as we were part of the CREATE contest entries. Since then we've been diligently working on the graphics, gameplay and general feel of the game. We were hoping to launch by the 28th of March for all the OUYA backers but we won't be making that deadline as we're heavily changing the look of the game.

Here's an older video showing some gameplay from the CREATE contest. The final version will be a far cry from this first video but should be so much more fun!

Wow, that is a truly unique idea for a game. I can honestly say that I've never seen a kayaking game before. Can't wait to try it out.

Wow, that's great to hear and thanks! The game is still moving forward it's just been stalled a bit since we're remaking the characters to be so much better and the kayaks are now done or very close and look awesome Lots happening but I can't wait until we get it on the store!

Thanks! The game is coming along great. We're implementing stunts, achievements, unlockables, unique items etc to customize your character. Down the road after the initial launch well look into letting people snap photos of themselves going down rapids etc to post to FB or twitter. Possibly also looking into online multiplayer races down rivers etc.

Hopefully we'll have a new demo out soon to show the huge amount of progress.

After White Water 3D, Are you considering to port an improved version of Reishi for OUYA?

Hey glad your keeping up on the games I'm making haha Legend of Reishi is currently being written and figured out. Trying to go for a legend of zelda wind waker type feel to it and so I've been doing lots of quest writing and such. It won't be the next game I make for OUYA but hopefully will be starting before the end of 2013 and will be quite involved. It was my first game I made or started to make so I've been itching to jump back into it.

The next game I plan to make is Cat'N Jack which will be sort of like a hack and slash game. Sea Captain Jack, who is a cat, needs to rescue his first mate Sophie from pirate rats. Top down 3/4 hack / slash type game

New Character design now in the game Helmet/hats and hair is now customizable, different styles / unlockables as well as color.


As well here is a shot of the character customizer screen, still work to do on it such as info for the kayaks but it's coming along.

Quick little update here. Got the kayak info into the game. Kayaks will have different skill sets so the user can pick what they want to use once they unlock the kayaks. There will also be extra unlockable items including boats, hats and hair styles.

Currently I have 6 different stunts that are possible to do. Instructions for the stunts will be shown on the screen when the player gets into the stunt zone.

There will be 5 achievements per river along with another set of 5 overall achievements to unlock specialty items etc. 10 Rivers to start off with, I'll possibly be adding another river pack down the road but not sure just yet, really depends how popular it is.
