    A new store!

I will do this. I checked out the net for some free (or cheap) solutions to set up a download store, and I found "Shopware".

It's not too complicated to configure. I don't want to use the term "easy", because it really isn't, but there is a quite good support forum that helps, and the try-and-error-method is my friend

The system is free of charge in it's basic form, and it can be installed everywhere, right now I have it running on my Mac at home and if it works out the way I want, I put it on my webspace. Finally something there After all these years.

Things that I can't do right now on my own are:

    - implementing DRM
    - have no clue how to process in-app-purchases
    - Frontend app for the OUYA

Right now I'm focusing on getting this to work in general. Then I will ask devs if we could publish their OUYA stuff there. If purchasing and downloading works via browser and sideload, we need the app for the OUYA.

So many games, so little time...

    Looking good!

    A minor word of warning,
Razer might not be giving a shit about OUYA, but I bet they’ll defend the use of the name as an Android Storefront.
Having a fan/community site is one thing, opening an Android store with the name is something entirely different,

Yes, for sure. It's only a project name, the final name will be different.

But as far as I know, OUYA is no registered trademark... or is it?

Most probably. Maybe going for a more generalized name would be better? Something that may appeal to other android console/box communities!

We will see. Right now, the major goal is to preserve as much of the library as possible. Including other systems would be a further step. Thinking about a name: I'm open for ideas

Sadly the OUYA name is trademarked and still live: http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/showfi...809:uy8vqq.2.1

We'll come up with a name. Something terribly clever too, but for now your set up is coming along nicely!
    DrnkPnk says, "Obey The Beard!"
I helped create a mini-game in Explosive Dinosaurs. Otakupunk played it, and now you can too!

Damn. But what I can tell from here, it's only the word "OUYA". Is the logo a special design or is this a font that is available somewhere else?

Keeping a list (tag/otherwise) of OUYA-Compatible games is incredibly important, but given that the majority also work on AndroidTV, it's probably a good idea to then include those, too.
Maybe playtest each and every one, and state whether it's "Controller Only" or "Touchpad Required".. .. Because those games tick me right off!!!
Then add a "Android TV Compatible" icon, too. (and vice versa for Android TV games that happen to work on OUYA) And let people search for whatever they like.

.. I'm expecting a lot from you, btw..!

A good contact might be this guy...
    Linkage
Samvest has been keeping track of AndroidTV Controller-Only games, and is making a decent list. He's also got lists for "Completely free games with no IAP" and other such things.
I only know of the guy because his various Reddit posts keep showing up in my site's referral stats! He links to AGameAWeek quite a lot.
