Razer to launch Gaming Phone ?

Saw this story today on Engadget where they talk about how Razer might be developing a gaming phone possibly based on the Nextbit Robin . Nextbit being the company they bought

    You might like this excerpt

"The company also owns Android-based gaming console Ouya, which could also play a part in a new mobile device."

If there's no controller, I estimate approximately 0.5% of the OUYA collection will work.
    Great plan, Razer! :/

.. something with a nice slide out controller would be epic!

Then that's "a bog standard generic phone that will be as ignored as every other Android phone."

The article clearly states it's a phone "just" for gamers.
    And gamers deserve buttons.

And if this particular gamer doesn't get buttons, and this gamer's recent foray into iOS territory results in a certain team of reviewers making certain suggestions, then that certain team of reviewers can go spin their hats...

"Gaming Phone" = Buttons. End of.

And if you could see my games running on the GPDxd, you'd wholeheatedly agree.

Just for gamers can mean anything as we know with Razer. Like how they were going to double down on the OUYA thing and they basically doubled down on killing it and the Forge. Oh....
I guess they did keep their word on doubling down

Anything that keeps the Servers running is welcome. I don't care about Buttons or not... won't anyway but anything from Razer again.
So many games, so little time...
