    RetroRaider : Three Crystals - Jayenkai/AGameAWeek

Help Laura Plat claim all the mysterious crystals, in this super-retro action roaming platform game!

Laura has a lot of crystals to collect, but there's only 3 in each level, so it shouldn't be too hard.
    .. Right?!

Stupid dogs all over the place.
Luckily, Laura brought her gun, but she's almost out of ammo.
Hunt around for ammo and health to help her along her way.

You can start your adventure at the OUYA.tv site or the Razer Cortex Forge TV site.
You can also find the .apk and more, over in my Jayenkai Archive

Note : No online scoreboards, this week, due to unexpected complications in the level generator!!

    Nice!
    DrnkPnk says, "Obey The Beard!"
I helped create a mini-game in Explosive Dinosaurs. Otakupunk played it, and now you can too!

i like it!!! Reminds me of pitfall for the atari 2600!

however, i'm having some trouble here.
When i'm running and then jump, the character stops for a while when i hit the ground again.
At first i though my batteries in my controller are running low, but that wasnt the case.
    Anyone else has this issue?
(might be an issue with my OUYA though, but it does not seem to occur with another game)

That's an odd issue. Isn't happening on my test device, but then my test device is a handheld GPD xd.. I've not turned either my OUYA or Razer on for a few months, now!!
You're not holding down, and inadvertently crouching, are you?
And are you using analogue or dpad?

I'm using a real OUYA with a real OUYA controller.
    Also, i'm using the d-pad.
I might be crouching by accident.... will test again

    *shrugs*
    Sounds very odd.
I've looked into it, and nothing obvious seems to be in the code.
If I ever find anything, I'll be sure to let you know.

Yes, i find it kinda annoying, since i like the game
it also happens only with this game, and i also tried at least 10 of your other games.
Did you test this on an OUYA with OUYA controller?

My ouya's been locked away in a drawer for the past year or two.
All testing has been done on a GPDxd, where it has no issues.
Maybe a Bluetooth thing?! *shrugs* seems an odd game to have it...

Incidentally, the GPDxd is what I ran your UFO game on, too.
    Works fine, no problems!
