Ok cool, I respect the no cockpit and the addition of bob to the mechs later will make it seem more mechwarrior (ah great game memories there). I WILL be putting this on my ouya.

Also, we've spent an enormous amount of time balancing it evenly so that no one mech is better than another. Just a different play style. We really want to encourage competitive gameplay and very strongly agree that "Pay to Win" kills all real competitive games.
so if i am correct with the information given to me, the game will be free, but you will have to buy the mechs? very clever. people will see it as free and download it do to the aspect of it being "free", then find out you can only play as 3 mechs to try-out. then the player will not only get a taste of the game but how each of the mechs operate. with this in mind players can buy a mech that is suitable to them and dont have to buy the others unless they want to. so tho the game is free, in order to REALLY play the game you must buy a stock mech then you can customize it to your liking. with this type of idea you could also charge for different arenas, upgrades (while making it completely fair to other players of course), and possible leveling.

For free to play games usually the actual playable content doesn't cost money (in this case arenas) because then the paid players wouldn't have as many people to play with. That way, even if only a small percentage of people play, they will still have a good experience and be able to matchmake with people who won't lag.

Your game rocks and I haven't even played it yet! This is probably my most anticipated title for the Ouya period. 8 player online = heck yeah! I have a question? Will you have an account that you can log into and save all your settings, robots, weapons, upgrades, etc? I'd like to be able to play from both my phone, tablet and soon to be Ouya without having to start my data from scratch every time.

As the amount of units shipped are still very low and the fact that our game is online/multiplayer only, it's hard to join a game with someone else unless you coordinate.

JamesACoote has been awesome enough to setup a scheduled time to play for those that have your OUYAs.

    Game: iMech Online
    Date : Daily
    Time : 22:00 GMT - 18:00 EDT - 15:00 PDT
    Server: US-East

See you online at this time!

We're glad you think so! We'll have an account transfer system implemented soon which will allow you to transfer your account to another device so that you can retain your status and progress.

    Found a bug:

If you fire rocket, then immediately blink before the rocket hits its target, it messes up your weapons (you just end up with no weapons showing in the bottom bar and you can't change weapon until you pick up another rocket)

Also I still keep getting kicked back to OUYA Play after every second game. Might be I just need to uninstall and reinstall the app?
