    OUYA background image.

    Where is it stored?

How has nobody posted instructions on changing the wallpaper yet?
Anyways If anyone can tell me where it's stored I'll just try replacing it with another image with the same file name.

Imagine, something ELSE than the controller you're holding in your hand.

Yeah, it's been asked a couple of times, and the possibility to change background has always been a wishlist feature.
Most of the time I keep my OUYA offline: please consider it before inserting a phone-home/always online DRM in your game. If you still plan to do so, please declare it. You don't want pirates, I don't want to be frauded.

Overwrite it and change permissions maybe? OR does Android not use linux file permissions?

Android does, but the OUYA firmware makes a webcall that looks for a background to use and then nukes what ever is there, or at least it used to.
