    Sticky Sticky - Caou

Sticky Sticky is a retro arcade action now out!

You control a blob that can 'walk' on walls and ceilings.
Avoid robots and spikes, collect coins for extra lives, reach the flag to complete the stage... The usual plan

The game also features multiplayer arenas for deathmatches à la Bomberman

Wow, it was looking kinda iffy, but the boss battle at the end was kind of awesome. I've got a bit of a Love/Hate thing going on with the GameBoy aesthetic. On the one hand, I love that it's dead on. On the other hand, it seems a little visually monotonous for TV play and that the limited sound effects would become grating pretty quick.

Now I imagine it's much too late to change the graphics (maybe a GameBoy adapter style selectable 4 color palette would be workable at a later date), but music is a must and maybe a variable pitch to the jump sound depending on how far you fly. Just something to add a little breadth to the soundscape.

Other than that it looks like something that I'd definitely consider. Keep up the good work!

Looks great, love the retro Gameboy aspect, and the gameplay looks simple and fun. I do have one suggestion, though - the graphics are obviously based on Gameboy, but the sound is no where near Gameboy level, the sound is more like Atari 2600, which just seems weird when matching to those graphics. It really needs some cool retro music - something like this seems to me to match your gameplay: Mario Land 2 music

Thank you for your feedback, Dreamzle, I'm now actually considering using 8bit music tracks among the game.

While waiting for my console shipping, I've published a new demo to be played on web browsers.
It includes new gameplay elements and new stages.

    seems really cool

But yes, it needs some music.

And consider more different enemies, weapons, and why not, portals XD

    Bomberman+Pacman = Interesting.

Nice game there. you could add music, more enemies, more colour, gates, abilities.

Personally I think its nice the way it is, adding too much will complicate the simplicity of the gameplay and detract from the purity of its retro styling. I really really like this game, and im looking forward to playing this, and hoping that you'll have hours worth of challenging levels to keep us busy.

"the purity of its retro styling", yeah the original goal was to stick to Game Boy colors, but then added 2 accent colors for special actions/states. Won't add anymore colors to the palettes for now.

The plan is to offer 10 solo stages + 2 multiplayer arenas as the free part of the game.
By paying few $ you'll get 20 extra solo stages and some extra multiplayer arenas.
