Ok, that is interesting to know. We have indeed a much better framerate now and I am sure that other users can say that as well. Now we need to understand why this is on your device. I have given your feedback regarding the PS3 controller into the technical department and lets see if they can do something about that.
I am playing the update right now, and there are still problems.
The control lag is still there.
The flickering is gone, but the animations sometimes stop. Instead of walking, it looks like the character is sliding.
The music starts playing before the level finishes loading, which is really weird.
Was unable to use my Ouya for a few months due to having only wi-fi connectivity (system updates not being downloaded nor game updates) but got a ethernet cable now (took some drilling and adjusting furniture to get it upstairs) and all works like a charm now.
So I finally got to download the PS3/x360 controller fix and I am very happy with it. Makes the game so much more fun to play.
Thanks a lot for implementing this!!!!!! You guys rock!![]()

Guys this is amazing job! I can't believe I'm playing Giana again.
I know you ported it to iOS and Mac OS X too. What about PC version? It will be awesome and I really hope you can make it
Is this port still in development, or was it abandoned?
- MOST IMPORTANTLY! The game doesn't remember being purchased after being uninstalled/re-installed! I already bought it twice, and after the last reinstall it looks like I'll have to pay for it AGAIN! WTF!?
- The game still runs very choppy - something a platformer must absolutely not do. Any chance to maybe lower the resolution and just upscale from 720 or even 480p? OUYA's HDMI output at 1080p is wierd anyway, so we wouldn't be missing anything.
- The control lag is still a big issue. It is certainly better than it was - but it's still a thing - especially in later levels.
- Menus are still a mess. Press buttons and land on random options with very indistinct highlighting. Will we get new controller-friendly menus at some point?
- The "Store" section of the game has an icon that can't be selected - the purple circle in the middle that looks like it should check if you already purchased the game can't be used with either controller or trackpad.
- Still no intro or opening drop stage.
- The game loads WAY more than any other android version.
- Shouldn't the classic mode have "classic" graphics and hopefully classic c64/Amiga music? I mean - it would really make sense!
I am a huge fan of Giana Sisters but this version is borderline hopeless: (
Someone please prove me wrong.

Contact OUYA via https://support.ouya.tv/anonymous_requests/new and/or https://support.ouya.tv/registration and they will help you. The game should be pulled off the store for such things because who know who's getting this issue without knowing what to do. They should refund you and everything.

Cool! Thank you. Just reported the issue.
It's a bit weird though. I can only find one receipt for buying it. I guess it might be that either the receipt system wasn't set up when I bought it first, or games in sandbox aren't allowed to charge you?
Anyway - I'd rather the developer come back and finish their game instead of abandoning it in this sorry state.
