The one critical problem I can see coming if this really is the case is that the consoles don't do anything without being able to log in to ouyas servers for auth.

That's my only concern.

I was once told a year ago that there would be an option made available for people. I don't know anymore than that since I didn't care enough to ask the needed questions. Probably should have in hindsight.
