Alpha Wave Contest - Ends April 19th at 12PM EST

Mr Switch is in a giving mood thanks to the best birthday conversation ever with a 3 year old in a shopping cart. Ok maybe not the best ever...

Anyway. I am going to keep this brief and simple.

    Entry requirements:
    1. Favorite SHMUP (ONLY ONE!!!!!)
    2. Favorite genre of games and reason you like that genre
    3. Name one famous person with a birthday today, April 16th. Not sure how many there are but don't just post something that someone else did. (Do not say me, I am not famous...yet)
**MUST HAVE ALL 3, AIN'T NO HALF STEPPIN.

For every 7 entries, 1 code will be given but there is a maximum of 3 codes being given. Winners will be chosen at random.

OK, first of all happy birthday!

    1.) R-Type
2.) RPG. I love how (in good RPGs) I can get so enthralled in the story. Also, I like being able to put a lot of play time in a game and still find new things to do.
    3.) Kareem Abdul Jabbar

    1) Radiant Silvergun I own it on the Saturn. Please don't try to break into my house to sell it.

2)Fighting Games - I enjoy seeing/learning/fighting/playing diffident characters, styles, and combos.

    3)Martin Lawrence "WHASSUP?"

    P.S. Happy Birthday Killswitch!

Happy birthday, KS! That story is very sweet!

Not sure why you're giving rather than receiving on your birthday (*waits for DP to post another Archer phrasing image*). Anyway, I'll play along.

    1. Android Assault
    2. Point-and-click adventures. I like games driven by story, and point-and-click adventures often rely heavily on story. There are also a lot of excellent classic games in this genre (such as the LucasArts games) that continue to be fun.
    3. Charlie Chaplin!

I helped create a mini-game in Explosive Dinosaurs. Otakupunk played it, and now you can too!

That is one awesome girl! I'm not participating though, because I just recently bought this game and I'm still trying to figure out what I think of it.
