Thanks, no apologies needed of course. Autofire can be boring or overpowered but it depends on how the rest of the game works.

Gah, around a score of 400 seems to be my kryptonite. 5th place at the moment.

So the 5 year old asks me to play it a bunch now so that she can dance to the music. She tried playing it but of course it was a bit too hard, and she was trying to dance while controlling the ship...

Cool stuff! I just tried it and while momentum/weight in shooters isn't my thing I had a lot of fun none the less! I managed to reach the second place with 766 without any problems. I think I could reach 1000 within the next couple of rounds and... well, I don't know how it looks further on so my first goal is plain 1000.

This is a great little retro-style game. It wouldn't be out of place as an 80s arcade game.

Edit: Ah, I was about to ask what the second number next to your score meant, until I re-read the thread. It makes sense now Hey, I'm number 1!

I have one suggestion, since I've kind of got the top scores dominated -- it would be good to limit the number of places that one person can have in the high score list to one (or some other small number). That way you can compare yourself to everybody, rather than just the one guy who's obviously been playing this too much.
