    Retro Robits - Homeworld Arts LLC

    This thread is for the discussion of Retro Robits. Note to the develops, if you wish to take ownership of this thread, please let me know.

    A 2-4 player Robit Racing Platformer!

    Race up to four friends in a couch gaming marathon. Jump on your friends heads, collect items and utilise them wisely to get the end of the stage first. Grab item orbs to gear up with wheels, rockets, super jumps, lasers, bombs, and missiles. Even hack your opponents to steal their items. Knock your opponents off the edge of your TV to earn a star. Race through 21 unique retro style levels. Challenge your friends or family in this ultimate party couch gaming experience.

    Retro Robits is created by HomeWorld Arts, the creators of Pixel Staff, Pixel Sword, and Jurassic Quest.

    I loved Pixel Staff. Sadly this game is multiplayer only. Looks good, but not compatible with how I use my ouya. Gutted. AI bots please as Home World Arts make very nice games.

    Great news! I have a question. I think your games play the smoothest and most responsive, what engine/software do you use? They just 'feel' so good to play.

    @jetmanuk Thanks for the nice words! We use Adobe AIR, written in ActionScript 3, to compile our games.

    Epic name for sure. Maybe the hero in your next pixel game should also have it. Perhaps a Knight, ya know, with Sir in front of it.

    An update has just been released for Retro Robits that add 7 challenge mode levels, which can be played with 1-4 players! We plan on making 21 challenge mode levels (hopefully another 7 next week).
