Should Ouya 2 be Sold Direct Only

There are a number of companies that do direct sales only, the result being they can offer the product for less, or beef up the specs .

As a hypothethical, would you prefer seeing a Tegra 4 Ouya 2 being sold at retailers for $120 or a Tegra K1 Ouya 2 which is sold only via Ouya.tv for $120

I am a store person all the way. If I can't walk into a place to return it then I am out. I will buy it online no problem but still need that ability to return an item to the store.
