yes.
There's a lot I will give ouya a pass on, but falling behind on kodi is not one of them.
As well all know I am a huge fan of KODI (aka XBMC), but some rather sad news was brought to my attention today. Apparently the next release of KODI, version 15, will require AndroidOS 4.2 or higher; this means future version of KODI will not work on the OUYA as it is.
Do you think OUYA should update to 4.2 to continue supporting KODI?

Interesting. If I recall correctly, there are some things that have been rewired in order to work on the OUYA console. I doubt what I'm thinking is correct, but the YouTube (for Google TV) application is coming to mind.

Is there any news on OUYA will be updated?
this is breaking my heart
I know the version 15 of Kodi is still in development cycle so Ouya does have some time to upgrade their OS. It's pretty important to me as a lot of plug-ins tend to upgrade to the latest stable version once it is released leaving the others behind. I certainly don't want to get another box on my living room TV just to keep Kodi current.
Tried ver, 15 about 5 weeks ago and then went back to 14.1 due to it be,ing a little buggy.
That now account,s for why it was not working very well.
