Not abandon the TV idea at all, by having their code in stock Android, their controller can work with any TV Box (and yes even tablets and phones connected to a TV) not just the HW they pump out that will always be hampered in sales to those that can afford the extra cost, are happy with its specs and don't have a box already - ie much more limited market .
