Update: sadly this didn't work. The android browser still poped up but it told me to connect to the internet..
Now how do i do the keyboard thing?
And would a USB keyboard work with this?

A USB keyboard is required. Follow the steps below.

1. Connect a USB keyboard to your OUYA.
2. Turn your OUYA on.
3. Press and hold ALT + PRINT + I (NOT L)
4. Keep pressing the I button for 2 seconds so that the screen flickers for about 4-6 times until your OUYA reboots.
5. When it reboots you will see a red exclamation mark and U. Now hit your home key button on the USB keyboard and you are now in recovery mode.

@nitrogen_widget has someone's tablet, might i add that, that person is FIVE YEARS OLD, and has the SAME exact ransomware as my ouya. I guarantee that kid wasn't looking at porn.... So just stop accusing me of something i didn't do. But think what you want about how u got that on there i guess...

I got my ransom-ware with Obama even in the upper right corner from searching out [stuff that isn't porn]

But, I have chromecast hrs of porn to my bigscreen & never had any issues so I believe OP.
Porn sites don't prevent people from viewing their sites lest those people cannot purchase something in a moment of weakness. LOL!

Just a thought, is your OUYA still connected to the internet? If so, try turning off your wireless router or unplugging the connection before start-up. Then when you start your device and it attempts to call the pop-up, it "might" not have access to an online source to call from. That may give you a chance to try closing it with the touch pad or double taping the "U" button to close the app.

It's a long shot because you said it was part of an APK you installed, but it would be worth a shot if you have the time and no keyboard to use.

Nah, this is either a flash or HTML 5 app that somehow inserted it self ahead of discover in the boot process.
